Jamie Figari
is a wife and mother of two Mopettes:
Mateo 3, and Luca 10 months. Originally from Michigan, Jamie relocated to
Austin four years ago by way of Miami, where she met her husband Guillermo.
A graduate from Michigan State University, Jamie previously worked in Public
Relations for Ford Motor Company and also as an auto editor for Consumer Guide.
After the birth of Mateo, Jamie has pursued her passion for interior
design. She now has her own full-service, interior decorating business.
Jamie also writes her own DIY design and lifestyle blog, www.jamiefigaridesign.blogspot.com,
where she shares furniture makeovers, recipes and design musings.
In her spare time, you can find Jamie doing yoga, scouring vintage and thrift
stores for inspiration, drinking copious amounts of coffee and recreating
furniture pieces.
Lauren Lefevre
A native of Atlanta, GA, and graduate of the University of
Georgia, Lauren relocated to Austin, TX in December 2011. Lauren is the owner
of Edit by Lauren Wardrobe Consulting {www.editbylauren.com},
offering wardrobe styling and personal shopping for men, women and children of
every age, lifestyle, body type and budget. One of the most rewarding moments
of Lauren’s styling career was Lauren being hired by ABC Extreme Makeover :
Weight Loss Edition to style contestants for their “big reveal”
parties. Lauren is mom to 14 month old boy/girl twins, Jack and Lily, and
enjoys interior design, entertaining, traveling, working out and, of course,
all things fashion!
Diana Wiard
Diana has been in Austin for 6 years with her husband,
Brett, of 7 years. They have a 2-yr-old daughter and love family time, adoption
and Jesus. Diana blogs about food and family fun at www.lifeonolivestreet.com.
Mandi Sutliff
My husband, Tyler and I have been married and living in
Austin for almost 10 years. We have two blessings that I get to be home with
and enjoy, Jackson (age 6) and Campbell (age 4). After growing up in North
Louisiana, I decided I would forgo applying to LSU for college and head to
another hot spot – Ole Miss. I met Tyler there, though we didn’t officially
date, until after college. I enjoyed many years of fun working in Graphic
Design, but am having an even better time soaking up my children. I love doing just
about anything outdoors, including running and water skiing. I have a passion
for painting and working with children. I have learned the best life lessons
from my own kids and my sweet husband. I love MOPs and have been a part of the
Ridge Mops for 3 years. It has been a wonderful way to really get to know Godly
women and develop great friendships.
Terri Hinojosa
Terri is a mother of twin ten year old girls: Madi and Abby and a 5 year old little boy: Brock. She is married to JoJo Hinojosa and loves to blog! She has had her own blog for 4 years: glitterednest.com and posts on family, baking, her creative children’s ministry and life! She is currently the website designer for Austin Ridge Mops.
She was a scholarship spring board diver for the University of Texas and holds two undergraduate degrees in English and Special Education. She also has a masters degree in Educational Administration.
Marsha Mayfield Lockett
Marsha is a familiar face and voice in
Texas. She’s hosted radio and television
programs and anchored newscasts in major markets. Mrs. Lockett serves as master of ceremonies
for benefits around the state and does voice-overs for commercials and non-profit
organizations. Her most recent work was
writing and directing a television commercial for an Austin non-profit
organization.
Marsha is on the Board of Directors for the
Austin based Helping Hand Home for Children.
She also volunteers for the Dell Women’s Alliance for Dell Children’s
Hospital and is the principal owner of Lockett Interiors.
Additionally, Mrs. Lockett has worked in the women’s
ministry at Austin Ridge Bible Church for many years. Her passion is mentoring and encouraging
young moms. She and her husband, David,
have been married for thirty-six years.
Marsha’s favorite and most important job was raising Jay (31) and Lauren
(28).
Laine Tvrdik
Wife and mother of
one moppet. Levi will be 3 years on June 16, 2009. Born on daddies birthday
Levi is a miracleand a blessing, bornat 28 weeks @ 2lbs 10oz. Spending 70 days in the NICU and has overcome many
obstacles.Levi is a fighter. Heis vibrant boy who attends Sonshine school and loves it! Originally from San
Antonio. Laine relocated to Austin in 1995. She met her husband
later in life during a girls snowboarding trip in Vail, CO.
Graduated from University of Incarnate Word where she pursued a degree in Nutrition. Laine previously
worked for Central Market as a Healthy Living Manager/Product Buyer. She also
worked for EmCare in Dallas as a Physician Consultant. She is now a proud SAHM and is grateful to be home
with Levi. In her spare time you can find Laine training for Triathlons or 1/2 Ironman. She loves cooking,
designing and hosting events at her house. Laine is also working on her blog soon to launch in
2012.
Jen Brinsmade
Jen is the mother of two amazing little people Ella 9 and Tessa 2 ½ and married to her soul mate, Doug since 1999.
Originally from Baltimore, MD., Jen moved to Atlanta GA. in
1988 where she graduated from GA. State Univ..
After college she started an in home personal fitness training company. In
1996 Jen went back to school to become a massage therapist. Once
she had her first child she was blessed to open Drift
Away Day Spa, an in home day spa. This
allowed her to continue as a massage professional and raise her family.
After a 5 year detour to Tampa, FL., Jen and her family
relocated to Austin in August 2010. She
is so excited to finally be “home” where her passion for health and fitness is
supported. She continues to motivate people towards healthier lifestyles and is
eager to begin her massage career again soon.
